Grade schoolers at the Educatio School in Livingston, MT met after school every day for three weeks to work on design thinking projects together as a team. For their final project, the kids conceived and launched a fishing game for their tree house space, drawing and sewing rainbow trout “stuffies” complete with magnetic features and DIY stick and metal fishing rods. I am not a trained teacher but I love working alongside students to learn to create, improvise, and improve together. Grateful for schools like Educatio who foster a safe space for learning by doing!!
